Bring up Rambo, add it with a bit of knife throwing sequence of Prince of Persia, butt-kicking kung-fu, and annoying Eric Roberts, there we got The Expendables. Seriously, watching The Expendables doesn't needs a high intellectual mind, not even close to smart, all you do is just watch and enjoy the action sequence. But the biggest hole is, while you wanna enjoy the action, you can't really enjoy it because of the shaky camerawork, all i do during the movie is only reading on my Twitter timeline, and occasionally "oow" when it cames to Jason Statham kicking ass and throwing knife, Statham, Jet Li, and Terry Crews steals the show, while Stallone makes me sleep with his boy scout idealism, and Dolph Lundgren still stick is his annoying acting.
The dialogue is lame and unquotable, although it's sometimes funny, a la 80's and 90's action one-liner. This movie's power is on the massive testosterone burst, and the bangs around, quite good action sequence, while in some times it's kinda dragging on the pace.
This movie is a dream comes true for action movie seekers, Rambo-fans, and too extensive
testosterone hormonal teenagers (you'll find it many in Indonesia), while quite confusing for advanced moviegoers.
My Score : 6/10
